1 BY Mill Road and Footpath. Starts at the parish boundary south-east of Vale Farm and runs north-west till it joins the Main Road B.1083 by the sign post on the edge of Sutton Common, this was the ancient High Road from Melton to Shottisham before the present road was constructed less than 100 years ago.
2 BY Mount Pleasant Track and Footpath. Commences from a point on B.1083 about 250 yards north of Sutton Church and follows the Church Road to the east for about 200 yards turning north-east by the gorse fence on the north-west side to Frogs Hole Cottages and Half Way House to the Hollesley Road.
2A FP Commences at Frogshole at junction of BOAT Nos. 1 and 2, runs across Sutton Common northwards to join BR No. 6.
3 BY Post Office Lane and Footpath. Starts from the Post Office runs north-east to junction with No. 12 where it turns south-east to join No. 4 by Abblitts Barn.
4 BY Gobblecock Lane. Starts from Blacksmiths Shop on B.1083 past Broxtead Estate Office to Abblitts Farm then north-east crossing No. 1 and No. 6 past Gobblecock Hall to Hollesley Road where it is stopped on R.A.F. boundary. Continues for approximately 240 yards to join No. 5.
4X BR Gobblecock Lane. Starts from Blacksmiths Shop on B.1083 past Broxtead Estate Office to Abblitts Farm then north-east crossing No. 1 and No. 6 past Gobblecock Hall to Hollesley Road where it is stopped on R.A.F. boundary. Continues for approximately 240 yards to join No. 5.
5 BY Bussock Drive. Starts at parish boundary at north-west end of Bussock Lane continues north past Stone Cottages over the heath till it reaches the Melton-Hollesley Road near the White Post; continues along the east side of Sutton Common for a distance of 400 yards to airfield boundary.
5A BY From its junction with paths 5, 13 and 13A, at Stone Cottage in a south-westerly direction to the continuation of Bussocks Lane on the Shottisham parish boundary.

6 BR Bussock Lane (continuation of). From a point adjacent to the Shottisham parish boundary at grid reference 32804564 and runs north west to Holly Bush Plantation then north north-west past Keepers Cottage and then north-west crossing No.4 and then No.2, No.7 and No.31 across Sutton Walks to the southern side of the C340 road at grid reference 29974895.
7 BY Middle Drive. Starts from sign post on Sutton Road and continues north-east crossing No. 6 to Hollesley Road.
8 BR Stonner Lane. Starts from main road opposite Blacksmith's Shop and continues west to Sutton Hall Lane, commences again at a point 200 yards south and then north-west to junction with No. 18 continues west past Lower Farm to Stonner Buildings turning south for 100 yards to Stonner Farm and then west again to junction with No. 18A by river wall from there it follows behind the river wall to Stonner Point.
10 FP Low Barn Footpath. Commences east of Broxtead Farm Cottages continuing north past the cottages where it joins the farm road travelling east of Sand Pit Plantation to Low Barn where it joins No.2.
11 FP Short Chequer Footpath. Commencing in Post Office Lane (No. 3) travels north-west across an arable field to join the main road by the Plough Inn.
Width 4 ft.
12 FP Long Chequer Footpath (Part). Commences at junction with No. 3 (BOAT) where it turns north-west to join with F.P. No. 14 and thence running from the south eastern corner of Ordnance Survey enclosure numbered 151 along the southern boundary of that enclosure north of Fen Hall for a distance of approximately 247 yards joining the "Short Chequer" footpath (which runs back to the Plough Inn) at the west corner of the boundary to Fen Hall.
Width 4 ft to junction with No. 3.
13 FP Meeting House Footpath. Starts from BOAT 1, along north edge of Sawpit Covert then through a wood and over heath land crossing No. 6 and No. 5A joining BOAT No. 5 at Stow Cottage.
13A BR Continuation of No. 58, at Stow Cottage eastwards to the parish boundary, at the north-west corner of Bussock Woods.
14 FP Lawn Footpath. Starts from junction with No. 12 travels north-east to Broxtead Farm and then south south-east across lawn field and by side of Crag Pit Field to junction with No. 4.
15 FP Thorn Walk Footpath. Commences from No. 4 at the edge of the wood and travels south-east across an arable field to junction with No. 6 at Keepers Cottage.
Width 4 ft.
16 FP Fen Meadow Footpath. Starts at a stile on the main road opposite Woodhall Drive and travels north-east to cross the stream at the parish boundary from here it turns north-west to join the road again at another stile.
17 BR Woodhall Drive or Sutton Hall Lane. Starts from main road travels due west past Woodhall to Sutton Street where it turns north passing Sutton Hall and rejoins the main road opposite Sutton School.
17X BY Woodhall Drive or Sutton Hall Lane. Starts from main road travels due west past Woodhall to Sutton Street where it turns north passing Sutton Hall and rejoins the main road opposite Sutton School.
18 FP Rock Hall Footpath. Commences at Methersgate Hall junction of Nos. 34 and 35 and follows the Hall Drive east and then south to Cliff Farm where it crosses over the Hall Drive and travels south-east over arable fields to a point where the north-east and north-west boundaries of O.S. 256 meet, then running firstly in a south-westerly direction, thence in a south-easterly direction and finally in a generally easterly direction along the north-west, south-west and southern boundaries of O.S. 256 to a point in the south-east corner O.S. 256 adjacent to the south-west corner of Kiln Walk Plantation, then turning due south it crosses No. 8 over arable fields to Pettistree Hall, where it travels east to join No. 17 at Sutton Street, a branch passes south of Pettistree Hall towards Rock Hall and then west to join No. 28 on the River Wall..
18A FP Nettle Hill Footpath. Commences at the junction with No. 8 on the River Wall east of Stonner Farm and north through Nettle Hill Wood to the floodgate and then north-west through Tyburnhill Plantation over three arable fields to the junction with No. 35 just south of Methersgate Hall.
19 FP Methersgate Quay. To the Little Haddon Hall Drive.
19A FP Footpath from Methersgate Quay by River Wall to junction with No. 18A near the flood gate opposite Cliff Farm.
21 FP Shop Walk Footpath. Commences by the post office on the main road and travels south-west across an arable field to No. 17 which it crosses and continues west to join No. 18 by the Brick Kiln.
23 FP Mill Field Footpath. Commences from No. 4 nearly opposite No. 14 and travels beside the hedges crossing two fields till it joins the Mill Road (No. 1) near Vale Farm.
24 FP Brook Footpath. Commences by the Broxtead Estate Office and travels south-east of Brook House across an arable field to the junction with No. 25.
25 FP Loam Pond Footpath. Commences from the main road, travels east past Brook Cottages across an arable field over the streams and continues to the Mill Lane No. 1.
26 FP Shottisham Hill Footpath. Commences from No. 1 at corner of wood south of Vale Farm and crosses an arable field to the parish boundary.
27 BR Ferryfield Trackway and Footpath. Commences from F.P. 39 running north across two arable fields and then a short length of lane before the open heath until it crosses the private road to Little Haddon Hall. Then running along the track to Ferry Farm for a distance of approximately 283 yards then turning Northwards for approximately 83 yards to the South Eastern corner of Deben Wood, and continues to a point on the eastern boundary of O.S. 0001 and then running in a northerly direction adjacent to Deben Wood for a distance of approximately 369 metres to a point in the north eastern corner of O.S. 0037 and continuing successively in a generally westerly, north westerly and northerly direction along the northern boundary of O.S. 0037 alongside Ferry Hill for a distance of approximately 396 metres to a point situate at Ferry Cliff and continuing in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of O.S. 0037 for a distance of approximately 213 metres to a point on the northern boundary of O.S. 0037 overlooking the south bank of the river Deben opposite the Ferry Quay.
There was a recognised cart-track.
Width: 2.4 metres from a point on the eastern boundary of O.S. 0001 to end.
28 FP Ramsholt Dock Footpath. Commences from Stonner Point and follows the river wall to the parish boundary at Shottisham Creek Sluices outlet.
29 FP Rock Hall Footpath. Commences at Sutton Street through a gate across a pasture due south to another gate and then south-west to Rock Hall Cottages and continues north-west to join F.P. 18. There is another short path shown as 29A which joins this from Wood Hall.
29A FP From a point at a junction with Bridleway No 17 Sutton at OS grid reference TM30944465 running in a generally south south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 315 metres to a junction with Footpath No 29 Sutton at OS grid reference TM30844435.
Width: 1.5 metres between OS grid references TM30944465 and TM30934463; 2 metres between OS grid reference TM30934463 and TM30914456; 1.5 metres between OS grid reference TM30914456 and TM30844435.
30 FP Commencing from the public right of way from Heath Cottages for a distance of approximately 430 yards in a North Easterly direction following the metalled roadway; then along drive to junction with B.R. 41.

31 BY Eyke Drift. Commences from the main road at the junction of Nos. 1 and 7 and travels north-east across the heath crossing No. 6 and the Hollesley Road to the parish boundary.
32 FP Vale Farm Footpath. Commences from BOAT No. 1 and travels west through Vale Farmyard over private farm road which it leaves after crossing the stream crossing the meadow turning south through a gate to the parish boundary at the stream in the meadow.
33 FP Little Sutton Footpath. Commences at the Ferry and travels along the river bank under the Ferry Cliff in an easterly direction, continues to Little Sutton Haugh through the farmyard and along the drive to parish boundary.
34 FP From the private road to Ferry Farm to Methersgate Hall.
35 FP Two short sections of path at the northern and southern ends of the track to Methersgate Quay linking with Footpaths 18A and 19 respectively.
36 FP Broxtead Drive (shown on Map as Church Road) from where No. 2 turns off to Broxtead House entrance where it joins No. 10.
37 FP Commencing from the termination of No. 32 at the junction with No. 1 due east towards Bussock.
39 FP Methersgate Hall Drive. Commences opposite Sutton School on the main road due west and then south-west to Cliff Farm.
40 FP From Sutton Haugh (junction No.33) and eastwards, then turning in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 228 yards (208.890 metres), then following the northern boundary of the enclosure numbered 56 for approximately 667 yards (609.60 metres), then continuing eastwards to the parish boundary with Bromeswell at Gallows Corner.
41 BR From Bawdsey Road along Lt. Haddon Hall Drive, then south-westwards to Trotts Farm.
