2 FP From the end of the public road at Balls Chase leading eastwards for approximately 22mt, north of the new access road. Then southwards for approximately 6mt, across the access road. Then eastwards for approximately 47mt. Width to this point is not less than 2mt. Then, with unspecified width, continuing south-eastwards to the town boundary where it continues as FP24 in Greenstead Green parish.
3 FP From the northern end of Balls Chase in a southerly direction to Highfields.
4 FP From Mitchell Avenue west of Summer Row south-east to Tidings Hill School then east to Tidings Hill.
5 FP From Cutting Drive in a south-westerly direction passing West Road to Ramsey Road.
7 FP From Windmill Road leading north-westwards with an unspecified width. Then south-westwards with a width of 2mt between Nos.8 & 10 Spansey Court and north-westwards along the footway in front of No.10 Spansey Court. Then continuing south-westwards across the open space with an unspecified width to the footway in front of No.7 Spansey Court. 10 FP From the road opposite Crowbridge Farm east for about 100 yards then south-east to Trinity School Chase to a point approximately 40 metres north-west of its junction with Trinity Street, east of the school.
11 FP From the eastern end of Beridge Road eastwards, crossing the disused railway line, and passing its junction with FP13 to Rosemary Lane.
12 FP From Sloe Hill. Runs east to the railway line, then north-west along the western boundary of the railway line to the Urban District boundary. Returns in Halstead Rural parish as footpath 42.
13 FP From its junction with footpath 11, north-west along the eastern boundary of the railway line to the Urban District Boundary. Continues in Halstead Rural parish as footpath 5.
14 FP From its junction with footpaths 15 and 31 south-west to its junction with footpath 13.
15 FP From its junction with footpaths 14 and 31 north-west to footpath 12.
16 FP From North Street at Wash Farm in a north-easterly direction to the Urban District boundary. Continues in Halstead Rural parish as footpath 43.
17 FP From North Street south of Wash Farm in a south-easterly direction to Head Street at Halstead Mills.
19 FP From the Colne Road, at the side of No. 77, leading northwards with unspecified width to the rear of the property, then, with minimum width of 1.25 metres (but 2 metres where enclosed), northwards, then eastwards for about 100 metres, north-eastwards for about 240 metres, north-westwards for about 140 metres and north-eastwards for about 50 metres. Then it continues with unspecified width to the parish boundary with Greenstead Green and Halstead Rural where it continues as footpath 44.
20 FP From the road south-west of Abbot's Shrubs in a westerly direction to its junction with footpath 21.

22 FP From the road east of Snowden Fen in a south-easterly direction to the Urban District boundary, continues in Colne Engaine parish as footpath 3.
23 FP From the western end of Upper Fenn Road west and south to the Colchester Road north of The Priory.
24 FP From Colne Road, about 100 metres south-east of Pretoria Road (northern end) in a south-westerly direction through East Mill into Colchester Road about 18 metres west of the western side of the Halstead Cemetery wall. The path to run over the whole width of the private road of East Mill and, where it continues from the private road of East Mill through to Colchester Road, the path is to be 4 feet wide.
25 FP From the eastern end of First Avenue south then east to the parish boundary with Greeenstead Green and Halstead Rural where it continues as footpath 45.
26 FP From the Colchester Road east of Kings Head in a south-easterly direction to rejoin the Colchester Road at the railway bridge on the Urban District boundary.
27 FP Boisfield Terrace. From North Street in an easterly direction to School Lane.
28 FP From North Street, at Fleece Yard in a north-easterly direction to meet footpath 27.
29 FP From the southern end of Upper Trinity Road south-eastwards along Mayda Close, passing Mount Pleasant, to its junction with FP5 at West Road.
31 FP From Box Mill Lane south-west to footpaths 14 and 15 then in a south-easterly direction to North Street.
32 FP From its junction with footpath 21 in a northerly direction to the Urban District boundary; continues in Halstead Rural parish as footpath 10.
33 FP From the road north-west of The Howe, in a north-easterly direction to the Urban District boundary; continues in Halstead Rural parish as footpath 3.
34 FP Joining White Horse Avenue and Oak Road, N.W. of White Cottages.
35 FP From Beridge Road; south-west to meet footpath 10.
36 FP A short length of path from the eastern end of South Close in a southerly direction to the parish boundary with Greenstead Green and Halstead Rural where it continues as footpath 23.
37 FP From Manfield, Halstead, in generally north-westerly and south-westerly directions to join the County Road at Broom Hill. The minimum width of this path is 1.6 metres.
38 FP Footpath 38 Halstead, from Mount Pleasant, in a south-easterly direction in a straight line over the south-west side of the garage access road, adjacent to number 17 Mount Pleasant, across the garage access / turning area then on, behind 25 Cutting Drive, to the publicly maintainable footpath leading to Cutting Drive. Width 1.5 metres.
