At the western end the first section at Hoggets Farm leading eastwards and north-eastwards for approximately 144 metres, has a width of 3 metres plus an additional 1 metre clearance from the hedge to allow for any side growth, with the exception of a pinch point at a tree east of the road where it is 2.2 metres. The width of the remainder of the path is unspecified.
3 FP Starts at junction with BR2, runs north, west of Seller Wood, to the parish boundary with Copford as FP24.
5 FP Starts at road opposite Bockingham Hall, runs east, is joined by footpath 7, continues to meet road north-west of The Angel Inn.
7 FP Starts at junction with footpath 5, runs north to the parish boundary and into Copford parish as FP27.
8 FP Starts at Sandford Hall Green, runs west to road at Cantfields Farm.
10 FP Continuation of FP4 (Messing-cum-Inworth) in a south-easterly direction to the County road opposite Layerwood Farm.
13 FP Starts at road north-east of Brakes Farm, runs south, south-west, to the road north of Roundbush Farm.
16 FP Starts at Layer Breton Heath, runs north-west, turns south-west, meets footpath 17, then continues south-west to the parish boundary and into Layer Breton Parish as FP2.
17 FP From junction with footpath 16, south-east to the parish boundary with Layer Breton where it continues as footpath 5.
19 FP From its junction with BR36 and BR32 in a north-easterly direction to the parish boundary with Stanway where it continues as FP37.
22 BR From its junction with BR23 south of Birch Wood in a south-westerly direction to the road south-east of Home Farm.
23 BR From its junction with Bridleways 35 and 36 leading south-eastwards, passing Bridleway 22 and then north-eastwards to the parish boundary where it continues as Bridleway 22 in Stanway
24 FP Starts at road south-east of Conduit Farm, runs north-east to its junction with BR23.
26 FP Continuation of FP20 Layer-de-la-Haye leading westwards to the road at Layer Breton Heath. Then southwards and south-eastwards to continue as FP21 Layer-de-la-Haye. A 190 metre long section running south from the road is 2.5 metres wide, the remainder being unspecified.
28 FP Commences in Layer Breton parish as footpath 11, runs east, crosses boundary into Layer de la Haye parish as footpath 23.

32 BR From FP19 north to the parish boundary with Stanway where it continues as BR17.

36 BR From its junction with Bridleways 23 and 35 leading north-westwards and then north-eastwards to its junction with Bridleway 32 and Footpath 19.
37 BR From the road north of Birch Hall in a westerly direction, passing to the north of The Rookery and the Cricket Ground, to the road by White Horse Lodge. Minimum width of bridleway is 8 feet.
38 FP From the road north of Birch Hall, opposite BR35, in a south-westerly direction to BR37 at the north-western corner of The Rookery.
39 RBWY From Birch Street westward along School Lane to meet Caper Lane and Footpath 13, Birch. The width of the restricted byway is as depicted on the 1923 Ordnance Survey Map.
