2 FP Entry by stile at gate to house called Studley western side of Monument Lane on corner of S bend. Ends at left hand side of road at the bottom of hill at the sanatorium and the map shows the last of this path as called No. 4.
Width is about 3 feet for a quarter of the distance, broadens to 4 yards roadway, turns right and narrows to 3 feet path.
3 FP Leaves southern side of F.P. No. 2 150 yards before exit at Foxhall Road, continues for 40 yards southwards to stream and plank bridge submerged in mud. No path discernible the other side.
4 FP Entry by stile at gate to house called Studley western side of Monument Lane on corner of S bend. Ends at left hand side of road at the bottom of hill at the sanatorium and the map shows the last of this path as called No. 4.
Width is about 3 feet for a quarter of the distance, broadens to 4 yards roadway, turns right and narrows to 3 feet path.
5 FP Commences at junctions of paths 6 & 7 about 120 yards S. of pumping station, continues alongside boundary and ends where it enters main road opposite entrance.
Width: No recognised width. For the most part only suitable for one person, single file.
6 BR Commences at junctions of paths 5 and 7 about 120 yards S. of pumping station, continues up hollow ground to junction of paths 8, 9 & 11 about 150 yds. east of Water Tower.
Width: About 2 yds wide.
7 BR Commences at Rushmere Heath boundary (junction with path 8) and continues alongside boundary and stream to junction of paths 5 and 6, about 120 yds S. of pumping station.
Width suitable for foot passengers single file.
8 BR Commences at Rushmere Heath boundary (junction with path 7) and continues along Kesgrave boundary to junction of paths 6, 9 & 11 about 150 yds east of Water Tower.
Width varies from 4 to 6 yds.
9 FP Commences at junctions of paths 6, 8 and 11, about 150 yds east of Water Tower and crosses to centre of open heath, junction of paths 10, 12 & 13, skirting the north-east side of the Speedway.
Width: 3/4 yd wide.
10 FP Starts from the main road about fifty yards east of entrance to Sanatorium, passes east of Brookhill Cottages and thence to centre of heath (junction of paths 9, 12 and 13) skirting south-east side of speedway.
Width: About 3 yds wide.
11 BR Starts from Bell Lane, close to Kesgrave boundary and continues generally within 20 yards of boundary to junction of paths 6, 8 & 9 about 150 yds. east of Water Tower.
Width: Various widths up to 4 yards.
12 FP Commences at junction of Bell Lane, Peacock Lane and Main Road, passes through Pine trees and Birch Wood north of Heath Cottages and across open heath to junction of paths 9, 10 & 13 in centre of heath about 500 yds south-east of Water Tower.
Width: No recognised width. Mainly suitable for single file pedestrians.
13 FP From Bell Lane westwards to junction with F.P.'s 9, 10 and 12.
16 FP This path starts east of Foxhall Hall on the right of barn approximately 500 yards from the Hall and continues past disused sand pit with cultivated land on the right. Continues north then east to the Parish boundary.
18 FP This path is a continuation of one starting in Brightwell. From the Foxhall Parish boundary it continues west along meadow land, then to and along the eastern boundary of the trunk road. Continuing from and along the western boundary of the trunk road, then towards Charlotte's Farm and ends at stile leading into Farm entrance road.
Width about 4 feet from start to eastern boundary of the trunk road, then 4 feet from the western boundary of the trunk road to end.
19 FP This path is a continuation of one starting in the parish of Brightwell. It starts on the meadows at the parish boundary and goes in a south-westerly direction to a plank footbridge over stream. Total length about 25 yards.
Width about 4 feet.
20 FP This path is a continuation of one starting in the parish of Brightwell. It starts at Plank Bridge over a small stream and goes north-westerly across meadow to brick bridge over main stream at corner of meadow. Over the bridge it turns due west and follows north bank of stream for about 30 yards to plank bridge where it joins path No. 19.
Width about 4 feet.
21 FP Starts at brick bridge over stream at corner of meadow and continues along edge of meadow southwards towards street farm. It turns west at southern corner of meadow and joins lane just east of farm buildings.
Width about 4 feet.
22 RB It is a green unmetalled public lane which starts at east parish boundary adjacent to the bungalow. Continues down sunken track between high banks to bottom of hill, where it enters meadow and turns northerly, following round edge of meadow before turning east, over a brick bridge (stream) to Street Farm.
Width about 8 feet.
24 FP Starts at field gate on lane just east of Street Farm and continues south-west along meadow for about 80 yards. Then along edge of cultivated land before crossing field to bridge over stream and fieldgate and thence into Parish of Bucklesham.
Width about 4 feet.
25 RB A continuation of the green unmetalled public lane starting at Green Farm westwards. At top of hill it turns northwards and after about 200 yds. westwards passes the entrance track to Street Farm Cottages and the end of Fison's Whin. Then past Lewis Cottages to eastern boundary of the trunk road.
Width about 8 feet.
26 FP Starts at plank bridge over stream near Parish boundary, with Brightwell. Along edge of cultivated land, across gardens north of Street Farm Cottages. Thence along south edge of wooded belt, to and along the eastern boundary of the trunk road. Then from and along the western boundary of the trunk road, continuing along edge of cultivated land to field gate and stile leading to meadows just east of Valley Farm. Junction of nos. 27, 35 and 36.
Width about 4 feet from start to the eastern boundary of the trunk road, then 4 feet from the western boundary of the trunk road to end.
27 FP From RB 34 along the boundary of the trunk road, and continues north across cultivated land and field gate and stile and thence to junction with path 36 on meadow just east of Valley Farm.
Limitation: Subject to private vehicular rights along section adjacent to the western boundary of the trunk road.
29 FP From RB 25 along the boundary of the trunk road, then continues down edge of cultivated field southwards to wood, thence along easterly edge of wood to rough meadows. Ther is a footbridge over small stream in meadows and across meadows to stile. Thence across cultivated land, still continuing in a southerly direction and south south-westerly direction traversing O.S. 59 to a point on the south-east boundary of O.S. 59 on the Bucklesham parish boundary at Footpath No 1 Bucklesham.
Width about 4 feet from the boundary of the bypass to the Bucklesham parish boundary.
31 BR Commences on Bucklesham Road between Holly Lodge and Holly Cottages. Across the first field this runs on the west of a row of beech trees, east of wire fence. This path becomes Footpath 32 halfway across where a five barred gate crosses the path, then to the northern boundary of the bypass. Continues from the southern boundary of the bypass..
Width: Three yards wide.
32 BR Commences on Bucklesham Road between Holly Lodge and Holly Cottages. Across the first field this runs on the west of a row of beech trees, east of wire fence. This path becomes Footpath 32 halfway across where a five barred gate crosses the path, then to the northern boundary of the bypass. Continues from the southern boundary of the bypass.
Width: Three yards wide.
33 FP Starts on Felixstowe Road at a point opposite to the Shepherd & Dog Inn as a passage way between two bungalows, the one on the left as entering is known as "The Laurels". Continues the length of private gardens to a yellow gate, passes over railway line to a similar gate and across a field which is in the next parish. (Nacton).
Width: The path starts as a five foot passage way and continues suitable for two people to walk side by side.
34 RB From the western boundary of the trunk road to junction with metalled road and track leading to Valley Farm.
Width about 8 feet.
35 FP Starts at field gate and stile to the east of Valley Farm. Crosses meadow westwards of swing-gate and fieldgate (adjacent to farm house) at entrance to farmyard. Crosses farmyard to a stile and gate at west end. Thence across the meadow land following the line of the bank, to north end of wood. Thence along north edge of cultivated field through end of another wood and finally on to meadow adjacent to Waddling Duck Cottages and ends on metalled road leading to Foxhall Road.
Width about 4 feet.
36 FP Starts just east of Charlotte's Farm at southern end of track leading from Foxhall Road. Continues through farm yard, then south-west across meadows to Valley Farm, crossing stream by a plank bridge. Joins path 35 at farm gate adjacent to Farm House.
Width about 4 feet.
37 FP From a point on the western side of the C352 Foxhall to Bucklesham road running in south westerly direction along the south eastern boundary of O.S. 0005 for a distance of approximately 140 metres to a track north of Foxhall Hall Farm Buildings in O.S. 9468, then to commencement of No. 38 and junction of No. 39.
Width: 1.2 metres for a distance of approximately 140 metres, then a 4 yard roadway.
38 FP Continues as from No. 37 across a cultivated field, in a four yard roadway, continues 400 yards to fir plantation and 300 yards along the southern fringe, and a further 50 yds. down a grassy slope 6 ft. Wide to eastern side of monument base at Peacock Cottage.
Width varies from 4 yards to 6 feet.
39 FP Entrance at junction of no. 37 and 38 and proceeds north-westwards across cultivated field for 400 yards, bears left and widens to cart track over heath land, skirting plantation and entering Foxhall Road on the southern side by stile.
40 FP Commences at junction of new Speedway Road with main road east of Brookhill Cottages, passes through Birch Wood and across open heath to Bell Lane about 50 yards south of boundary.
Width: No recognised width, 3 yards wide at Brookhill entrance, mostly suitable for single file passengers.
41 FP Starts from path 5 opposite the north end of the targets and runs up the open heath in a north-easterly direction skirting south of the speedway to join path 10. This path is a continuation of one starting in the parish of Rushmere.
Width: Suitable for single file foot passengers.
42 FP Starts from main road about 200 yards east of Brookhill Cottages and runs first in a north-westerly direction and then northerly (skirting west of speedway) having been somewhat diverted to the west, to junction of paths 5, 6 and 7 about 120 yards south of pumping station.
Width: Various widths. Southern part 2 1/2 yds. wide. Northern part 1 yard wide.
43 FP Commences at parish boundary south of Dobb's Corner and runs through woods for about 100 yards and joins B.R. 49.
Width: Various widths.
44 BR Commences Foxhall Road, runs northwards for 535 yards.
Width two to three yards.
45 FP Commences at main road nearly opposite end of path 39 through Black Walk Plantation, crosses open heath in a north-westerly direction to the Water Tower, crossing approach road to Air Ministry buildings, Bell Lane, and path 13 en route.
Width: Various widths from single file to a maximum of 3 yards.
46 BR From Pole Hill to Dobbs Lane.
47 FP A short section of path near the Vicarage.
48 FP From the Rushmere St. Andrew Parish boundary near Brookhill Cottages, south-eastwards to Purdis Farm.
49 BR From Bell Lane in a general easterly direction to OS grid reference TM22834487, then running on levelled consolidated and unobstructed ground in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 50 metres and then generally east north easterly within and adjacent to the southern boundary of the proposed public open space for a distance of approximately 585 metres and then generally north easterly for a distance of approximately 30 metres to OS grid reference TM23484495 at a junction with Footpath No 43 and Bridleway No 50 Foxhall.
Width: 3 metres from TM22834487 to TM23484495.
50 BR From end of B.R. 49 eastwards to the parish boundary.
51 BR Along the northern boundary of the bypass.
Limitation: Subject to private vehicular rights.
52 FP From a point abutting Footpath No. 16 Foxhall at O.S. grid reference TM23814399 running in a generally southerly direction, to the east of the building known as the Control House, to a point immediately to the south of the said Control House, at O.S. grid reference TM23844377 a distance of approximately 230 metres. Then running in a generally southerly then south easterly direction, following the line of the existing track, to a point abutting Footpath No. 36 Foxhall adjacent to the building known as the Pumping Station at O.S. grid reference TM24024345, a total distance of approximately 670 metres.
Width: 1.5 metres to O.S. grid reference TM23844377, then 3 metres
53 FP Commencing at the junction with Bridleways 7 & 8 Foxhall and Kesgrave Footpath No.1 and proceeding in a westerly direction for 50 metres to Brendon Drive; recommencing on the western side of Brendon Drive and continuing for a further 10 metres to the Rushmere St Andrew parish boundary at where it continues as path No.66.
Width: 3 metres
