1 FP Sailors' Path. Starts near Hazelwood Street at Friston - Aldeburgh boundary. Runs west across heath land for 300 hundred yds. to a stile, then joins roadway past Marsh Cottage to East Lodge. At this point becomes very narrow and crosses marshes by 6 footbridges. Then runs through Blackheath Woods, crossing 2 private drives, and ends at Friston-Snape boundary south of Decoy Farm, Friston.
Width mostly 6 - 9 feet wide, except across marshes.
3 FP Starts at stile in Aldeburgh-Snape Road 300 yds west of its junction with Aldeburgh-Friston Road. Runs south for 600 yards between hedge and cultivated land until it joins B.R. 3a.
3A RB Commences at the junction with the A1094 opposite the B1069 and to the north west of West Lodge at Ordnance Survey British National Grid Reference (OSBNGR) 641,962mE259,297mN and progressing in a generally south westerly direction for 525 metres joining FP3 at OSBNGR 641,543mE258,995mN; continuing with hedging to the northern boundary for 600 metres and crossing a track at OSBNGR 640,999mE258,761; continuing in an westerly direction, between hedged boundaries for 111 metres and joining Snape Restricted Byway 15A at the parish boundary at OSBNGR 640,889mE258,744mN south of Firs Farm Cottages.

7 FP Fitches Lane. Starts near Friston-Coldfair Green Road just south of bridge over Hundred River. Runs east for 250 yards between allotment gardens and Council Cottages, then runs N.E. between hedges for one mile to its junction with Aldeburgh-Leiston Road at group of small bungalows.
Width: Varies in width from 4 - 6 feet.
8 FP Starts at footbridge over the Hundred River ¼ mile S.W. of Aldringham Parrot and Punchbowl Inn. It then runs S.W. between gorse bushes for 300 yds. to its junction with Fitches Lane.
Width: Single track.
9 FP Starts at remains of demolished house opposite junction of F.P. 7 (Fitches Lane) with F.P. 8. Runs S. between hedge and cultivated land for 400 yards - then E. for 50 yards - then S. alongside Four-Acre Covert for 150 yds. to its junction with F.P. 12.
Width mostly about 4 feet.
10 FP Starts at a point 130 yards S.E. of "Heatherlands" on Leiston-Aldeburgh Road. Runs E. for 100 yards between fence and grassland to footbridge over Hundred River, this being the Friston Parish boundary.
Width: Single track
12 BR Nuttery Lane. Starts at junction of F.P. 5 and F.P. 12A (Sloe Lane). Runs S.E. for 600 yards between Portabella Covert and arable land to its junction with Friston-Aldeburgh Parish boundary.
Width 6 feet.
12A BR Sloe Lane. Known locally as Lily Pond Lane. Starts in Friston-Aldeburgh Road 300 yards. E. of Rushmere Lodge. Runs N. between hedges for 850 yards to its junction with Nuttery Lane. Then north to Billesford Hall.
Width 4 to 6 feet.
13 FP Starts at junction of Low Road, Friston, with Knodishall Whin. Runs north-west for 300 yards between cottages and allotment gardens as far as east side of Mill Road, Friston. Begins again on west side of same road and runs south-west for 100 yards between hedge and cultivated land as far as Friston-Snape parish boundary.
Width: Single track.
13A FP Starts on Friston-Aldeburgh Road 500 yards east of Hazlewood Hall. Runs north past Grange Farm, then through Millers Covert to stile. Then north-west across grass to stile at copse known as The Belt. Then west and then north to Keepers Cottage. Then runs west for 300 yards between cultivated land to its junction with F.P. 12a. (Sloe Lane).
Width 6 feet as far as first stile, then single track.
15 FP From junction with F.P. 16 north of Moor Farm at OS grid reference TM40446144 running on levelled consolidated and unobstructed ground in a generally east north easterly direction across the said arable field for a distance of approximately 240 metres to a point adjacent to the eastern boundary of the field at OS grid reference TM40666153; thence on to Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40676153 and proceeding in a north north easterly and then easterly direction along a field edge on level and consolidated ground adjacent to the sloping headland margin for approximately 248 metres to join Friston Public Footpath No 17 at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40856165.
Width: 1.8 metres from TM40446144 to TM40666153; single track; 1.5 metres from TM40676153 to TM40856165.
16 FP From the junction with the B1121 Saxmundham Road at OS grid reference TM40196107 running on levelled consolidated and unobstructed ground in a generally north north easterly direction along the driveway to Pond House Friston for a distance of approximately 180 metres and then continuing generally north north easterly to a point on the southern boundary of an arable field at OS grid reference TM40336127 for a distance of approximately 70 metres a total distance of approximately 250 metres; then running on levelled consolidated and unobstructed ground in a generally north north easterly direction within adjacent and parallel to the western boundary of the said arable field for a distance of approximately 205 metres to a point at OS grid reference TM40446144.
Width: From TM40196107 to TM40336127: 3 metres; from TM40336127 to TM40446144: 1.8 metres.
17 FP Starts at Woodside Farm, Friston, and runs north-west for ½ mile between ditch and cultivated land. Then leaving Friston Moor covert on left, and at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40866148 proceeding in a north north easterly direction for approximately 174 metres to Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40886165. Then a spur commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40856165 at a junction with Friston Public Footpath No 15 and proceeding in an easterly direction along a field edge on level and consolidated ground adjacent to the sloping headland margin for approximately 38 metres to Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40886165 then continuing in a northerly direction along a track for approximately 119 metres with the eastern edge of the footpath commencing 1 metre from the boundary fence to join Friston Public Footpath No 18 at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40896177. Recommencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40936184 at a junction with Friston Public Footpath No 18 and proceeding in an east north easterly direction along a field edge on level and consolidated ground adjacent to the sloping headland margin for approximately 237 metres to join Friston Public Footpath No 20 at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM41166190.

18 FP Friston Moor Lane. Starts at a point on Saxmundham-Leiston Road opposite Meadow Farm (formerly Workhouse Farm). Runs south for 650 yards between hedge and ditch to farmgate, then south-east between fence and grassland to Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40896177. Recommencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40866179 and proceeding in an east north easterly direction within the width of a track parallel to and immediately adjacent to its northern side for approximately 86 metres to join Friston Public Footpath No 17 at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM40936184.
Width 6 feet wide to TM40896177. 2 metres from TM40866179 to TM40936184.
20 FP Commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference TM41216177 at a junction with Knodishall Public Footpath No 6 and proceeding in a north north westerly direction for approximately 71 metres to Ordnance Survey grid reference TM41186184; continuing in a northerly direction via Cloutings Farm to the Saxmundham Leiston Road again northwards for 600 yards between ditch and cultivated land to its junction with footpath 22.
Width: 1.5 metres from TM41216177 to TM41186184; then single track throughout.
21 FP Starts at a point in Mill Road, Friston, opposite windmill and turns west alongside football ground to stile at entrance to Friston Hall grounds - proceeds past Friston Hall to its junction with Red Barn Lane to Friston-Sternfield boundary.
Width: Single track.
22 FP Starts at a stile at the northern extremity of footpath 20, runs in a westerly direction for 150 yards between ditch and cultivated land to its junction with Workhouse Lane.
Width: Single track throughout.
23 FP Starts opposite Friston Post Office and runs in a northerly direction for 300 yards between cottages and hedge on east side and water-course on west side. Ends at its junction with footpoath No. 17 just after passing rear of Friston Parish Hall.
Width 12 feet wide for first 50 yards, then 3 feet wide for remaining 250 yards.
25 FP From a point on the Friston/Knodishall road 250 yards N.E. of the "Chequers" in a northerly direction to Friston Churchyard where it branches N.W. to OS grid reference TM41286050.
26 BR Commencing on the Snape Road (B1069) at grid reference 43126056, progressing in a westerly direction along a hard core track, passing along the northern edge of field parcel 0955, along the southern side of the property known as "Stonehurst" for 28 metres to join Bridleway number 20 Knodishall at the Knodishall Parish boundary at grid reference TM 43096056.
Width: As defined by the boundary lines on Ordnance Survey 1:2500 1971 Edition as a minimum of 2 metres.
27 FP Commencing on the east/west section of Low Road at Grid Reference 4111 5996 and proceeding in a general north-north-easterly direction along a gravel track known as Donkey Lane for a distance of approximately 130 metres to the entrance of East View Cottage, continuing between the hedged boundaries of that property and the property known as Brambles for a distance of approximately 15 metres to the junction with Mill Path at Grid Reference 4116 6008.
Width: 3 metres for first 130 metres, then 1.2 metre.
Limitations: Subject to any private vehicular rights which may exist.
28 FP Commencing on Mill Road at Grid Reference 4110 6012 and proceeding in a generally east-south-easterly direction along a grass path known as Mill Lane between the rear outbuildings of the Mill and an established hedge for a distance of approximately 80 metres to the junction with Donkey Lane at Grid Reference 4116 6008; continuing between property boundaries abutting the path for a further 25 metres, then turning in a north-north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 80 metres to Grid Reference 4123 6014, thence in a general easterly direction along a gravel path for a distance of approximately 30 metres to its junction with Low Road at Grid Reference 4125 6014.
Width: 1.2 metre minimum.
29 BR Part of the former unclassified highway known as Workhouse Lane.
30 FP Commencing at a stile at the junction with Fitches Lane (FP7 Friston) at grid reference TM44516040 and progressing in a north-north-westerly direction running approximately 5 metres west of the eastern boundary of scrubland parcel no.3551 to grid reference 44496046, then in a generally north north-westerly direction running approximately 5 metres west of the eastern boundary of parcel number 3551 for approximately 93 metres to grid reference 44476055, changing to a northerly direction for 35 metres to grid reference TM44476058, changing to a westerly direction within parcel no. 3551 for 185 metres to grid reference TM44296058; changing to a northerly direction for 50 metres to a stile and the footbridge at the junction with FP1 Aldringham and FP8 Friston at grid reference TM 44296064, for a total distance of 430 metres.

31 FP Commencing at the junction with FP8 Friston at grid reference TM44196061 and progressing in a southerly direction along the Green Lane, parcel no. 1953 for a total distance of 158 metres to the junction with Fitches Lane (FP7 Friston) at grid reference TM44186045.

33 RB Commencing at the junction with the U2322 at Ordnance Survey British National Grid Reference (OSBNGR ) 639,944mE260,394mN and progressing along a track, adjacent to the Snape parish boundary to the west and hedged on the eastern boundary, in a south south westerly direction for 350 metres and joining Friston FP21 at OSBNGR 640,097mE260,077mN; continuing for 232 metres and joining Snape Restricted Byway 13A at OSBNGR 640,189mE259,863mN.
