4 FP From FP 17 Walpole in a variable easterly direction then in a variable north-westerly direction for approximately 511 metres to Walpole Road.

5 FP School Lane footpath from end of Rectory Street joining up with Fen Farm footpath No. 1.
Width about 3 feet.
6(1) FP Mill Hill, commencing end of Rectory Street thence through to Wissett Road.
Width 4 feet.
6(2) FP Mill Hill (2) footpath commencing end of Rectory Street near Calver's Mill and finishing on Wissett Road at a point approximately 100 yards west of footpath No. 1.
Width about 4 feet.
7 FP Loam Pits Lane via town Farm and Pest House Farm (as it is sometimes known) thence northwards to Harrison Lane, Bungay Road.
Width 3 feet.
8 FP Rectory Lane footpath (Parsons Lane) commencing Chediston Street crossing river by footbridge thence to Rectory Street foot of Mill Hill.
Width approximately 6 feet.
9 FP River Lane footpath starting from Thoro'fare (Angel Hotel Yard) to a point about 60 metres from Angel Lane. Then from a point about 25 metres further north-eastwards and joining up with footpath of New Reach.
Width: Average width 10 feet.
10 FP Running from a point at grid reference TM 38890 77583 to locks at end of New Road where it crosses over to join footpath to Castle House, Holly Road (known as the Follies) No. 11.
Width: Average width 4 feet.
11 FP The Follies joins up with footpath No. 10 (New Reach) at bridge starting at Castle House, Holton Road.
Width: Approximately 5 feet.
12 FP Commencing from the southern side of Mill Road (U1101) at grid reference 37957795, progressing in a generally south-south-easterly direction, down a slope along a hardcore track, following the western side of a hedgerow and pond in meadowland field parcel No.1483 and eastern side of field parcel No.0080 and spinney parcel No.0479 for approximately 230 metres to the junction of Footpath No.1 at grid reference 38087776; at this point the path branches:
(i) continuing in a generally south-south easterly direction, down the slope as a natural surface path within a tree/hedge lined sunken lane, then passing the eastern side of woodland field parcel No.0046 and western side of a drain for approximately 252 metres to a handrailed footbridge at grid reference 38227754; crossing the footbridge, now on level ground continuing in the same direction, passing over grassland along the western side of a hedgerow and eastern side of a drain for approximately 80 metres to a staggered barrier at grid reference 38247746; then continuing in the same direction, over grassland, along the western side of a hedgerow and eastern side of a drain and boundary fence of scrubland field parcel No.1944, up an incline for approximately 65 metres to join the northern side of Chediston Street (B1123 road) opposite property No.61 at grid reference 38277741;
ii) changing to a generally west-south westerly direction up an incline along a natural surface track, passing the southern side of spinney parcel No.0479, then along the southern edge of field parcel No.0080, following along the northern side of a drain for approximately 417 metres to the Chediston parish boundary to link with Chediston Footpath No.8 at grid reference 37707760; then changing to a general northerly direction, up an incline along the western edge of field parcel No.0800, following along the eastern side of a drain for approximately 323 metres to the Wissett parish boundary to link with Wissett Footpath Nos. 3 and 11, adjacent to a culvert at grid reference 37667792.
A total distance of approximately 1367 metres.
Width: Width: as defined by the boundaries on Ordnance Survey 1:2500 Map 1927 Edition (Sheet no. 28/9) between grid references 37957795 and 38087776 varying between a minimum of 5 metres and a maximum of 8 metres and 3 feet between grid references 38087776 and 37667792.
14 FP River path on north side joins up with New Reach No. 10 at bridge where the Follies joins the dam thence to OS grid reference TM39417706.
15 FP From Bramfield Road to Swan Lane footpath near Sewage Works gate, part of accommodation road.
16 FP Path joins up with Town Farm Footpath No. 7 on map and connecting with footpath known as Lovers Lane in the parish of Holton coming out on Harrison's Lane east of footpath No. 7 in Halesworth Urban District.
17 FP Commencing at a junction with Loam Pit Lane at grid reference TM 39127771 and progressing over a stone/pebble path within a hedged alley, up a slope in a predominantly northerly direction for 34 metres to a junction with a footway leading west to Bramblewood Way, continuing in the same direction for 32 metres to staggered barriers at grid reference TM 39137778; turning west-north-west for 42 metres to the end of the alley at grid reference TM 39097779; continuing west-north-west, up a slope for 35 metres and then on level ground along the southern edge of a grassed play area for 59 metres, passing through a gap between concrete posts and down an earth bank for 4 metres to grid reference TM 38997781; continuing on a slight incline as an earth path in a predominantly north-north-easterly direction between a tree lined hedge and tennis court fencing for 49 metres, then up a steeper grass bank for 4 metres, then for 10 metres to its junction with Dairy Hill (U1328 road) at grid reference TM 39027788. The route is within Halesworth town area Parcel No.0476. Total distance approximately 269 metres.
Width: Minimum width 1.5 metres, except where it passes between 2 established concrete posts at grid reference TM 39007781
Limitations: There shall be staggered barriers at grid reference TM 39137778 and the path shall pass between two concrete posts at grid reference TM 39007781.
20 FP Commencing on the eastern side of the Norwich Road (A144) on the western side of the railway bridge at grid reference 38797799, progressing along a tarmacadam path in a generally south-easterly direction, passing through a staggered barrier, down a slope, along the western side of the boundary fence of the railway line, following along the eastern side of the boundary fence of the Halesworth Police Station for approximately 120 metres to pass alongside a barrier to the western side of Station Road (C943) adjacent to the Halesworth Railway Station at grid reference 38867790.
Width: as defined by the boundary lines on Ordnance Survey 1:2500 Map (1982) as a minimum width of 2 metres available from grid reference 38797799 to grid reference 38867790.
21 FP Commencing on the southern side of the Holton Road (B1123) at grid reference 39347740 and progressing in a generally southerly direction, up an incline, passing between the properties known as Cedar Lodge and Woodleigh along a natural surface track within a grass hedge/tree lined sunken lane and then down a slope for approximately 164 metres to the eastern end of footpath 22 at a point adjacent to double steel gates at grid reference 39337724.
Width: as defined by the boundary lines on Ordnance Survey 1:2500 Map 1927 Edition (Sheet no. 28/9) varying between a minimum of 4.5 metres and a maximum of 6 metres.
22 FP Commencing from footpath 11 (approximately 20 metres in a generally north-north-easterly direction from the former Southwold Railway bridge) at grid reference 39187736 and progressing in a generally easterly direction, down a slope, across scrubland field parcel no.2633, known locally as Birds Folly for approximately 45 metres to grid reference 39237735; then changing to a generally south-easterly direction, up an incline and down a slope, across the base of a disused pit to the site of the former Southwold Railway and continuing along the southern edge of a spinney for approximately 154 metres to the southern end of footpath 21 at a point adjacent to double steel gates at grid reference 39337724.
Width: as defined by the boundary lines on Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map 1927 Edition (Sheet no. 28/9) as a minimum width of 2 metres from grid reference 39187736 to grid reference 39217735.
23 FP Commencing from the southern side of Quay Street (B1123 road) at grid reference 38857770 and progressing in a generally southerly direction, along a tarmacadam road, down a slope, over an area known as The Quay for approximately 40 metres to a staggered barrier between Marlow's Yard and shop at grid reference 38867766, continuing in the same direction, along a tarmacadam path, passing the eastern side of Marlows Shop and the western side of a chain link fence for approximately 27 metres to grid reference 38857764; then changing to a generally south-westerly direction, along a concrete path, passing between chain link fences for approximately 10 metres to grid reference 38847763; then changing to a generally southerly direction, along a concrete path passing between chain link fences for approximately 22 metres to grid reference 38847761; then changing to a generally south-easterly direction, along a concrete path, passing between a chain link fence and corrugated sheet fence for approximately 30 metres to the northern side of a footbridge at grid reference 38867759; then changing to a generally south-south-westerly direction, crossing the footbridge for approximately 6 metres into the Town Park, at this point changing to a generally south-easterly direction, along the eastern side of the Town Park, along a gravel path, following the southern side of New Reach for approximately 32 metres to a point adjacent to a park shelter at grid reference 38897756; then changing to a generally southerly direction, along the western side of New Reach, passing along the eastern side of a chainlink fence and hedgerow of the Town Park, passing Footpath 9 leading off in a westerly direction, continuing in the same direction, passing along the eastern side of a corrugated sheeting fence an hedgerow for approximately 210 metres to grid reference 38947736; then changing to a generally east-south-easterly direction, along the southern side of New Reach, following the northern side of a hedgerow/trees, crossing a stile for approximately 154 metres to a point adjacent to a footbridge at grid reference 39087730; then changing to a generally south-easterly direction, along the southern side of New Reach, along the eastern edge of meadowland field parcel No.1218 for approximately 115 metres to join Footpath 14 at a point adjacent to the western boundary of the Railway Line at grid reference 39167721, for a total distance of approximately 646 metres.
